MAMA I MADE IT.

MIMI started with two friends, Arash and Tino, who met in the United States.

We came from different places, but our stories felt familiar. We were both immigrants, both building a life away from where we started, and both grew up with the idea that there had to be something bigger waiting for us.

We’ve always had this slightly unreasonable belief that you can make something out of nothing. That where you start doesn’t have to decide where you end up.

MIMI came from that feeling.

Mama I Made It.

It’s not really about money, status, or some imaginary finish line. It’s about becoming the person you told yourself you could become. Taking the risk. Making the move. Creating something that’s yours.

And somewhere behind all of that is one of the biggest motivations we both share:

making our moms proud.

They sacrificed. They believed in us. They watched us start over, figure things out, fail, try again, and keep going.

So MIMI became bigger than clothes.

It’s for anyone chasing something that might not make sense to everybody else yet.
For the people betting on themselves.
For the ones still figuring it out.

One day, whatever “making it” means to you, we hope you get to say it too.
